SS 420 sheets are martensitic chrome steel that may be hardened and is a little modified version of Alloy 410.
The increased carbon content in SS 420 sheets compared to Alloy 410 is intended to improve the quality and hardness characteristics.
It is available for coagulation up to the hardness of fifty HRC, the highest hardness of the twelve-tone system Cr grades, although it has great flexibility in strong conditions.
SS 420 sheets are designed to have a high degree of toughness, although occasionally, certain qualities are compromised.
